How many fighters are the clear number #1 in their division.

Pac’s resume is probably better than every fighters in the division put together though.😂
As frustrating as it is seeing him face the likes of Benavidez and Kavaliauskas I still think he’s an elite fighter.
I wouldn’t say Crawford, Spence or Pacquiao can definitively claim to be the current #1 at 147 tbh.Comment

LOL, good point. **** man there's so many great fights that can be made involving Crawford if he were to ditch Top Rank. It's frustrating as hell. Wasted prime years IMO, but hey the safe money is nice I guess.Pac’s resume is probably better than every fighters in the division put together though.

I think he’s naturally got a lot of loyalty towards Bob who to his credit has guided Crawford’s career perfectly up to 147.
But at 147 TR simply can’t provide him with the fights he needs, and as you say his prime years are running out now.
I was gutted when he resigned, I’d love to see him mix it with Porter, Thurman, Pac, Garcia and obviously Spence.Comment

Goulamirian? I'm a big fan of his style, very fun to watch, I've seen all of his fights since Merhy but he isn't the best at all. Briedis is a clear #1 though now that you brought up the cruisers.Comment

Nietes has been inactive so long that I consider him semi-retired. He's still a legend of the sport. Thing is Estrada got that win over SSR (albeit due to the worst tactical error I've seen in a long time in boxing) so he is the clear #1 for now.Comment
