I literally rewatched this fight yesterday, Lewis actually takes centre ring in a lot of the rounds and is always controlling the action. He only used his feet and lateral movement when McCall came rushing forward using them raiding tactics. Lewis got the game plan spot on that night, and McCall literally fell apart mentally in the middle of the ring.

Re-watch the fight man... he honestly didn’t fight all that cautiously. It wasn’t an overly defensive performance by any means. Rounds 1, 3 and obviously 4 he’s actually the guy on the front foot for significant periods.

That 4th round was f***ing crazy, god knows what was going on inside McCall’s mind.

All I know for certain is that Lennox has never shown bias towards any British fighter and he represented another country for the Olympics. Couldn’t tell you what it is exactly because every time I ask, I start forgetting it as they are explaining it because it’s so ******.
