It didn't look like that at all. Fury's hand was clearly fully inside the glove, and unless he has a detachable thumb, it was obviously inside the glove with the rest of his hand.

One thing that none of these fools can explain is how a floppy glove in the first fight helped Fury KO Wilder in the rematch a year later, when he was wearing a different brand of gloves altogether.

I'm shocked that nobody else realized the dude's gloves would literally flop behind his own wrist. Have you seen that NORMAL in any typical boxing match? NO! You can hate all you want, but that was not in any way normal. I don't know what they want to come up with as to why that happened, but something wasn't right.

I feel like the combination between Wilder wearing a dumbass costume and Fury's hacked gloves resulted in the destruction of Wilder.

The ref didn't have any disgusted look on his face and there is no evidence at all that the glove was damaged deliberately. Fury has huge hands and struggles to fit them inside 10 oz gloves. That thumb tab looks very flimsy and the most likely explanation is that it was torn accidentally while Fury's team were pulling the glove on his hand.

Now you're saying he hurt him so bad that poor Deontay's punch resistance was permanently weakened.

Yeah, and the baby oil that Wilder was complaining about after the first fight must have been what they used to lubricate the inside of the spring loaded glove so it would slide up and down Fury's fist without jamming!
