I watched Max Kellerman talking about superstars and how USA rarely sees a foreign guy as a genuine superstar due to bias/patriotism/arrogance towards other countries so it's not really a surprise that AJ isn't, when you factor in his loss. DZ is also not a good place to build your name.

He's still big in many different countries, but it's the way it is. If he wants to change it he'll have to take the financial hit and fight over there.

The Rodney Dangerfield of boxing. I don't get no respect. He came to conquer America, but had to settle for Saudi Arabia. And these English guys trashing their own to prove a point. How savage is that?

I mean....why talk this genuine nonsense here when there are other, genuine, reasons to use? C'mon...

As a person that’s from a ***ish family (I personally don’t practice), I didn’t particularly take offence to his comments. The media and banks are controlled by ***s for the most part, so it’s not like he didn’t speak the truth. People shouldn’t be offended by facts.

He might be a lot of things, but certainly not racist.

Yeah that must be why so much props have been given to Fury for beating Wilder. You know, cause Americans don't do that

Also you can earn more respect..

People look at things on the surface. Fury went into America, beat Wilder and took his belt. No problems making the fights and did what he said. Got robbed in the first fight and made sure it couldn’t happen the second time. That’s how you approach a rematch.

AJ spent a while flip flopping about only wanting the big fights in the UK, which he has said before. He finally fights in USA and get flattened by a guy that isn’t great, then wins a rematch in Saudi playing tag, which is fine, he did what he had to do but it hardly leaves a great statement.

I’m not knocking AJ’s achievements but it’s easier to see why Fury gets the respect recently and considered number 1.

Well he beat your crappy champion so they have no choice. Joshua couldn't destroy him cuz Wilder kept on ducking.

My champion? I wasn't aware that I had one. Tyson got props cause he did what he said he was gonna do. Joshua's debut in America saw him get beaten by an out of shape blob (no offense to Ruiz). After the Fury fight if you go on ESPN or other American sports outlets all props were given. After the Joshua vs Ruiz fight in NY if you were on those same outlets they kept saying "How do you lose to a guy like that"

Now imagine if AJ was American. He's holder of 3 belts, he KOs Klitschko, the previous dominant HW. And with his nice boy image. Jesus, he'd be more golden boy than Oscar or SRL
AJ got those belts off the fattest champ in history who didnt train for the fight.

Beating an already beaten, beltless, 40 year old Klitchko is hardly amazing.

Nice boy except for his racist comments, and being a convicted drug dealer.

Remember this comment of his... what a great nice guy ... "If Ruiz Talks ***** - I'll Break His Jaw, Hurt Him Really Bad!"

Glad he got the beating of his life.
