    Weight isn't a non factor, but it wasn't the decisive factor here, neither was this "lack" of training.

    Ruiz has quick hands but has had slow feet throughout his career and it was always going to be difficult for him if AJ boxed him mid to long range and largely kept outta trouble. He was doing that well up until he dropped him in the 1st fight then got overzealous.

      Maybe he thought AJ didn't have the stamina, but when he lost the extra muscle he's cardio looked decent. Not many big men can box and move like that, to be fair.
