It is a nice fight at either weight, both dudes pretty much as prime as you can be physically though maybe Bivol could do with a little more top flight seasoning... he has got the size advantage though of course.

Bivol means nothing at 168, that fight needs to happen at 175
Bivol only offering to drain himself 7lb so Canelo could feel like he has the edge and agree to the fight LOL. Canelo don't want no smoke with Bivol at 175, Big Facts.

          that could possibly be correct

nah, that is bullshlt... you completely made that up

Canelo has considered 175 once, with the only star in that division

he has likely never given Bivol the slightest thought... Canelo looks for name-opponents, not unknown/unproven guys who are not much more than prospects

I highly doubt that Bivol could beat Canelo at 168... I would bet big money on Canelo in that fight

Bivol needs to do something at LHW, and become someone

I agree. A more experience Dmitry Bivol polished with fights against top 5 or 10 and winning them make the fight interesting.

So basically what you're saying is from now on Canelo can avoid genuinely dangerous threats because they're not known by casuals... OK then... very convenient way to escape from the likes of Bivol, Beterbiev and Andrade. Also for what its worth David Benevidez batters Canelo at 168!

nope... what I am saying is, this...

why the fcuk would Canelo select the totally unknown Bivol at 168?

there are literally 4 better fights at 168 than Bivol

dropping weight means that he drops to the bottom of the list

he is not a superstar... he is not the best at 175... and he is a total nobody at 168

you have no idea whatsoever if he can drop weight successfully

that fight needs to happen in Bivol's division, at 175

catchweights are shlt whenever someone is forced down in weight

and no, it does not matter if Bivol insists that he make 168... because Chad Dawson said exactly the same thing, and Ward got no credit for beating him

at least Dawson was a star and the top guy at light heavyweight... Bivol is neither of those things

                  at 168...
                  1) Benavidez (how can everyone not see that?)
                  2) Saunders
                  3) Plant/Smith
                  4) Bivol

Bivol's best chance to land a Canelo payday... is to beat Beterbiev, and call out Canelo at 175

same for Beterbiev... those guys need to actually do something, and become someone... to get that fight

                  1) a Bivol fight should happen at 175

                  2) it would help Bivol's chances if he actually did something noteworthy

now, THAT is the fight that needs to happen at 168

that could be a shockingly violent fight

I can't wait for that fight... luckily with Canelo, we know it will happen... Benavidez needs to keep on winning... and like Bivol, it would not hurt his chances to do something meaningful

this is the way I see it... corona will fcuk boxing for awhile yet, so Canelo's next fight will be Golovkin... the guy who unifies at 168 of Benavidez/Smith/Saunders, will be the guy who wins the Canelo sweep-stake... and the guys who will not fight each other, like Charlo/Andrade at 160... and like all the welters who stood off each other waiting for the other guy to lose so that they could win the Mayweather sweep-stake by default... they will get nothing, they will miss out

Canelo will almost certainly fight Benavidez, he will definitely fight the kid if David proves that he is the best at 168... the sooner the better for me, the longer the better for Benavidez... who will only get better at this point

that fight is monster vs beast

Had to look and see if you ever make sense or just continually talk out of your ass. Couldn't find any sense so put this piece of info in your noggin, Dimitri Bivol is the best LHW champ out there untill he meets a guy named Zurdo! Just so you know they beat up canelo all day long. You really are a dumb wanker! But it's ok if you are open to learning a thing or two and that starts with keeping your mouth shut and ears open. Dumbass!!
