Holyfield was a sparring partner for Lewis in both fights.

Vitali and Mercer were both for more punishing and brutal fights for Lewis, everybody knows that. For some reason Lewis just does not want to admit that publicly.

They tried to set Lewis up against Mercer, and installed a very small ring 'Lennox Lewis still won the fight'.

ah i get it, his toughest opponent didnt fight him in his toughest fight, which is lucky for lewis i guess, i persume holyfield had 2 off days and mercer just was **** on top form

Those fights with Evander Holyfield vs Lennox Lewis, both was close with either have a case of winning, losing or drawing. Those fights was difficult to score. The fight I always dream and never materialized, was the Vitaly vs Lewis 2.
