What exactly am i refuting? I actually am a fan of al haymon and many of his fighters. I simply said that not everything is about race. I'm not wrong.
You then hopped in with name calling and i found it funny lol
as a white boxing fan myself i have never seen anyone in this sport smeared as much as al haymon! He is the only black promoter/manager in boxing! The most successful one at that!

Literally every white writer in boxing has tried to lie and smear him!

It doesnt take much to realize its about his race!

Reminds me of how our fellow racist americans used to bash ***** for the things they cheer on trump for....

Boxing is just as racist if not more than politics!

You know why you can pick and choose when to acknowledge race/racism and pretend as if it isn’t always a relevant factor? Your skin color isn’t constantly under attack. There’s a 200+ reply thread on the front page of this section right now that’s all about the drama and in Floyd’s daughter’s life. Thread has absolutely nothing to do with boxing but it’s one of the most popular threads tight now. Thread is filled with a bunch of non blacks talking in code and using dog whistles to not only schit on Floyd and his family but all blacks.

Let me ask you one question, when did everything stop being about race? Give me the time where race/racism wasn’t always a factor to some degree? When did this era begin?
Dude racism is alive and well. I am first nations so I understand this all too well. You think black people are the only people in the world who are discriminated against?

My point is not that racism is not real. When you try to turn any criticism in to "oh he's just a racist hater" then you belittle your own position. Does this make sense? I'm not trying to be insulting here.

So in regards to Al Haymon. No doubt some people DO dislike the guy because they are racist. However it is foolish to say that Haymon is ONLY polarizing because of racism. That means he is above criticism because if you dare to say anything negative about the guy then you're automatically a racist? No way! Nobody gets a free pass regardless of their skin color.
And again keep in mind that I actually support Al Haymon and what he has been able to do for fighters. I'm just saying that other people have the right to their opinion and it does not automatically mean that it has anything to do with race.

This is fair. No doubt racism is still a very real problem.

To play the race card at any and all criticism belittles that position however. It's like saying "you have to like me or you're racist" (maybe I should start trying that haha)

            3. Fighters who fight under his banner tend to be loyal to him

There are your reasons. So plain and simple, RACISM/WHITE SUPREMACY is why he is “polarising”....a term not used for my ***ish brother Bob Arum, not used for DLH, and not used for Hearn.
Being an old ***, coming from a people who have had the worse of it from nigh on to 3500 years, I call it like I see it. And there are a lot of people in the world, particularly in the USA, uk, australia, etc who want to be racist and spew racist drivel yet are scared to death of the label of being racists.
Let the rants from the ultranationalists, 4/8chan INCELS, russian trolls, and bigots of all types ensue
why do yall always make everything about race?

The same goes with soccer players, basketball players or American football players. There are people whose roles is to identify talent at grassroots level and some develop it for the next stage until they become full fledged players and some only deal with fully established professionals. It’s just a normal food chain. Does dealing with full fledged professionals make you a less professional or mean you are not good for the players. Do you think Real Madrid is not a good team because they mainly sign well proven superstars or you think Southampton is better than Real Madrid because they produce more grassroots players? Or maybe you think Lakers is crap because they sign many well proven players?
and yet Pac and Floyd were HOF before they started working with Haymon. He has no fighters that started out with him that are carving out a historic career.
