Let's settle it. Are Golovkin and Crawford the same, just different weight classes?

    Derevyanchenko and Lemieux were legit title holders.

      Derevyanchenko didn't have a belt when they fought. It says "Won vacant IBF and IBO middleweight titles", it should say fought for Canelo's stolen belts.

      But you're right about Lemieux. I missed that one. "Retained WBA (Super), IBO, and WBC interim middleweight titles;
      Won IBF middleweight title"

      All the rest were interim, regular, or he got upgraded and then retained them.

        Regardless, how many different orgs did Crawford contend for at 147? One. And he was content with that one.

        See, Golovkin at least went for and won multiple titles in his current weight class, regardless of how.

          True about GGG, I'm also not defending Crawford haha. That is pretty sad...you definitely expect more especially if he is always claiming he is the best pound for pound. That mofo has no capacity for shame and is delusional. He suffers from delusion of granduer.

            And even in the past he had ONE real drawing name he beat - Yuriokis Gamboa. I'll give you Breidis Prescott, but Prescott was not a draw, his claim to fame was sleeping Khan.

            Regarding people who DRAW MONEY...Crawford has TWO wins - Gamboa and Horn and he fought Horn in the US where Horn never was a draw. Had he been brave enough to beat Horn at home like Spence beat Brook at home, it would have been a better win. But I'm not sure Crawford would have beaten Horn had it been in Brisbane, frankly.

            This is all that matters LATELY.

            I understand it, I'm just giving him credit where it's due.

            He did beat Postol who was the lineal, even if he isn't an ATG caliber fighter.

            But yeah, there's more question marks to Crawford's career than answers. For all his perceived ability and p4p ranking, he hasn't really done anything noteworthy.

            That's why I think he's a lot of smoke and mirrors by way of Bob Arum. He has skill but it's not shown against the legit top boxers.

              Well, let him keep pulling his guaranteed $3million for sparking the B-level. Maybe we'll end up with another Hamed where Crawford retires in disgrace after losing. Or maybe he'll be like Golovkin running out of the ring ashamed. Or if he gets dropped and it gets counted properly this time, maybe he'll be helped out like Broner.

              I wish Crawford would take a challenge so we know whether he's any good or not. I really do.
