Let's settle it. Are Golovkin and Crawford the same, just different weight classes?

You can't have it both ways, bro.

If Horn beat Manny, NSB is wrong, which means Crawford is even more of a duck given he should easily be able to take care of anyone else. I mean he beat the guy that beat Manny Pacquiao, right? So why's he avoiding them?

    As far as the rest...done.

The division was dog sht up until just recently. I think when ggg was like 33/34 did the division get hot. Go back and look at the guys he fought before 31 years old which is how old Crawford is now. I can see him getting a bunch of good fights in before 37 years old.
If you ask certain people here, Crawford will be too old for it to matter.

            Put it this way.

That version of Gabe Rosado decimates every name on Crawford's resume. In dominant fashion.

Jeff Horn is the only wildcard, because it would depend on the fight location. In the US, Gabe Sapolsky Rosado brutalizes him too.

We really need to stop overrating Postol. Skilled, but one-dimensional. "Straight up and down, no special effects" as Floyd would put it. Rosado would have walked him down.

Gamboa, as Atlas said, was pieced up and made to quit against Castellanos because of a "LACK OF FUNDAMENTALS!". He was only successful against Crawford because Crawford was going backwards. Rosado doesn't go backwards and Gamboa would not have wobbled him.

This is a guy who is still the Big Knockout Boxing champion. He was always tough and rugged. Those two guys would have a good early showing, but neither see the 10th round.

I think you overrate power and we just saw Wilder beat down. Skills pay bills.

But again GGG was 32 or close. I expect Crawford to fight an A-list boxer here in the next 2-3 fights so then we can drop this noise

No, I don't overrate power. That's exactly my point.

Postol and Gamboa would not have had the power to keep Rosado off of them. Period. Gamboa would have speed, but he couldn't keep that up for 9 rounds. Meanwhile, all Postol can bank on is counterpunching, and that only gets you so far unless your name is Floyd Mayweather.

That one year makes zero difference. The only reason Rosado was getting hurt against G is that he wasn't busy enough and kept stopping instead of staying on the move. Early on his defense was frustrating G to no end. That's how Postol would have went, all night long.

Depends on how you define "A-list" I suppose. My money's on:

But Golovkin at least did beat champions for his titles even though the champions were not the strongest or fastest. And Golovkin at least seemed to try and fight other champions. He didn't sit off in a corner and lie that nobody would fight him. Every champion except Saunders (WBO), he faced at least once.

Crawford has refused to fight every other welterweight champion. He won't even challenge Sebastian Formella (IBO).
Are you sure about GGGs belts, according to Wikipedia he only won vacant interim belts and just retained them fighting Uber drivers or got upgrades.
