this is just for casuals. nothing more. like floyd's career after the castillo fight. look i beat an old guy that used to be good! casuals dont know if that guy is still good. the fight will prob be at like 164 or some other crap and yeah its just dumb.

This fight basically means everything for GGG's legacy. Because he's fought so few top fighters throughout his career, his rivalry with Canelo carries all the more weight. As for Canelo, he has a HOF resume outside of his fights with GGG and continued to expand on his accomplishments, but beating a hyped up supposed ATG middleweight twice will no doubt be a great feather in his cap.

It would even lead to a 4th fight. Ugh, it's turning into Pac vs Marquez but with less entertaining fights
TBF, that's a high standard to hold any rivalry to, lol.

A fourth fight here would be totally pointless, though, because then Alvarez would get even less credit if he won and Golovkin would have no reason besides money to fight it. THAT would be the fight with nothing at stake.

It would be pointless but they'll play the it's 1-1-1 angle should GGG win. You know how boxing works, they'll promote the heck out of it if they see dollar signs in the end. Especially since all it would require is a 20 buck subscription
