Gamboa fought Crawford at lightweight (135) 7 years ago. He was the more seasoned one at 135 than Davis. It was Davis' first fight at the full lightweight.

He KOed Gamboa after 3 KDs. What else did you want? Kill Gamboa? I personally was hoping for a 12 round in that fight. More sharpness and experience for Gervonta. He aced against Gamboa.

I just see these two going at it for years on social media and never fighting, whilst all the fans say 'there's no rush' then one of them loses or moves up in weight and it never happens. Garcia seems like a gob****e but I give him benefit of doubt as he's young but tank has shown he will only fight people who have no chance of beating him

I feel ya. They're superstars on IG, Twitter, etc. but have yet to match the hype they've been given in the ring despite the talent. Boxing is a business first & these are two of the biggest investments in the sport so their promoters are definitely not gonna let that happen any time soon. I'm still sketchy on if the Linares fight even happens for Garcia. After seeing Linares last KO I don't even think that fight is gonna happen.

Garcia is growing on me. I doubt he ever fights Davis (due to promotional stuff) but if he does, everyone must give him credit. Davis is entering his absolute prime.

Uh, that makes Cotto look even better which is the point. Cotto fought a higher caliber fighter with one leg and thats being generous, and destroyed his opponent. Tank had in front of him a crippled and washed up never really was. Im actually agreeing with you.

As much as I’m not a fan of his, I’m certain Tank doesn’t want that smoke. He won’t respond to the smaller Gary Russell Jr, he won’t face Devin Haney, Lomachenko gives him nightmares and you’d figure he would fight Ryan Garcia. Nope, don’t want it. 👎
