    It would make sense for AJ ,not so much for Wilder because he would take a very bad knockout loss by another fighter and then it’s really done for him . AJ vs Wilder would be easy work for team Joshua but it’s nothing more then a payday for AJ, and he would have done something someone else beat him to and that’s stop Wilder so ? Real fans would still want that fight but Wilder himself admitted he would never fight more then once over the years AJ and were supposed to believe AJ avoided him ? Wilders career has been exploited beyond belief and yo still have the crazy’s around here. Ha

      im a wilder fan but i don't want a third fight. he was utterly dominated. but also if he steps aside there's no other opponent that'll bring him the same money as a 3rd fury fight. so maybe he's cashing out.

            I haven’t seen any thing related to reason with you guys ? You wanted AJ to call it quits in fact you were the irrational ones but now what will happen now ? Ha

                Fury wants the fight, Joshua wants the fight, the world wants the fight, Deontay and his fans once again don't want to see an undisputed fight happen whether they are part of it or not.

                Can't blame Wilder for wanting to keep his rematch clause so he can try to win his belt back but he could play it smart and accept the step aside with a demand he faces the winner. He could be quids in and on top of that he could be next fighting for all the belts rather than just 1 of them.

                But wilder and the PBC just seem to want to ruin unification fights or undisputed fights. They blocking so many good fights throughout the divisions, fkk Boxing it's all about master Als business plan.

                  This ^. As a general rule it makes most sense for every fighter to take - or attempt to take - the most lucrative option for themselves at any given time. There might be rare exceptions where a fight would be bigger down the line, but that's always gonna be a serious risk to take especially for an older dude unless he's got real good alternative options.

                  You just never know what's round the corner, and especially once these guys start getting up into their mid 30s and the clock's ticking... could get a career ending injury, take an L to some nobody, some global pandemic could strike... anything could happen.

                    Here's Wilder's view via 78 Sports TV, prior to Ruiz vs Joshua 2;

                    "If I get the opportunity to fight for undisputed, I think Fury should step aside and allow that to happen...to stand in the way of that would be kind of a b!tch move and I don't think Fury's a b!tch..."

                      I have a funny feeling that Tyson Fury would retire once he would beat AJ
                      That is if Wilder were to take the step aside money
                      Fury keeps mentioning WWE and even getting into mma and just plain and simple retiring from boxing
                      He's done it once before , wouldn’t be really surprising and it certainly be on his terms
