Fury wants the payday only AJ can deliver, simple as that.Sounds like Fury is nervous that this extra free time will give Wilder the time he needs to make some adjustments. I'm sure he was banking on Wilders pride rushing him straight into a rematch and it may have been possible that they could have bought him out...but the virus has actually worked in Wilders favour. I'm not sure what he can change...but the more time he has...the better...and the more he adjusts...the less likely he steps aside.Comment

Exactly. You cannot answer me, because you know I'm right. Typical Wilder fan. Now go and hide like the rest of of Wilder's fans. We will see you after he gets retired in the third fight hahaha.Comment

Wilder very likely would run with the belts BUT... Fury has his number. The money is fighting AJ and Arum, Hearn and Finkle know it. Shelly is holding out for a bigger step aside. In the mean time...Wilder is pissed because he just found out that he's not the money, never was and likely just now waking up to the fact that he should have taken the 100 million DAZAN offer.Comment

Yeah , maybe your right
I wouldn’t be surprised
I think he always knew he wasn’t the money , he can’t be that blind but in hindsight had he gone to fight AJ , he did raise his stake by huge amount
I personally don’t believe all that chit about 100 , there had to be more to it
Personally , I don’t think anybody walks away from that large of a sum
I think chit happened behind the scene which we don’t know and probably will never know
That’s big coinComment

Sure I’m a Wilder fan but that’s all I am. I don’t live vicariously through Wilder like some fans do. As bad as Wilder got beat I actually enjoyed the 2nd fight more than the first fight. Even though my guy lost I loved the way the fight was fought. I wish Fury would fight that way every fight.Comment

Wilder's step-aside money is very close if not superior to the amount he makes for # III. Honestly, there just isn't a big enough PPV audience willing to PAY $80.00 for III. They'll stream but not interested in paying for it.
Finkle's announcement was about the rematch but equally about skimming Saudi money. Shelly isn't ******, he knows that if beaten, Wilder is done as a PPV star. The smarter safer path is in securing a big "safe" step-aside and rebuilding with a few well chosen "hope building" opponents and then fight the winner for 100's of millions.
In all of this Wilder will be the problem. At this point Wilder is likely sobering to the fact that he's not the man in a game that acknowledges AJ as the money. Money or not, Deontay has a disdain for AJ and for that reason may opt to rematch rather then let AJ again, just roll right past him.
If Wilder fight Fury again it's for his pride because it's certainly not for the money.Last edited by factsarenice; 04-03-2020, 10:39 AM.Comment

Wilder protection agency still lingering around I see. You know AJ blasts Wilder out inside 5 rounds I’d put anything on it and win as usual . HaComment
