I was gonna look back at the last ten or so years and watch what I considered to be FOTY for each year.

Do you mean the official Ring FOTY or your own consideration for each year

Because yeah, I agree the official FOTYs, you can miss some of those and still be considered a good fan of boxing imo

I'm looking through the list now, I mean how many of us have seen 2006's FOTY:

Somsak Sithchatchawal TKO 10 Mahyar Monshipour

I bet the number is quite low!

        I'm gonna say Hagler-Hearns is a must-see fight

Also, Duran-Barkley (but that's one of my personal faves so I'm biased)

Ortiz-Maidana is one that's stuck with me too for some reason

        Arguello-Pryor

It was good, yeah, i'm not sure it's a must-see sort of fight, but definitely worth a watch! I remember thinking donaire was ready for retirement

I was gonna go with the fights I considered FOTY.
              I'm with you though.
Some of The Rings FOTY I can do without.

Benn vs mclellan. Terrible aftermath but the brutality of the fight shouldn't be forgotten.

Mayweather's early career. People seem to skip it, which is a shame because if the first Floyd fight I saw was Oscar or some **** I'm not sure I'd be a fan so much as just respect his accomplishments.

Thrilling, exciting Floyd, is like his first 30 fights or so but all anyone ever talks about is his last 20. They're great displays of defense and generalship, timing, accuracy, etc, y'all know Floyd, but, in his early career he had all those assets and used them to be aggressive and mean. A crowd pleasing style actually.

The crowds always like PBF but is wasn't getting him attention from the media and it was hurting his hands, so, he shifted to Money. Everyone knows Money. Money, TBE, great, but PBF was pretty damn fun.
