Yea man and thanks. I've never read anything 'nasty' by you so it kind of threw me a bit. I'm allowed a couple of gaffes a year.

Haha, no gaffe buddy, though I'm a Pacman admirer from the beginnings. Never have a doubt with me, I'm as good as an angel..and never offended, not even by some of the genuine idiots who wander around here

I guess this lockdown is a good time to revisit some old classics on Youtube and boxing movies. I'd give 'The Fighter' (Mark Wahlberg as Mickey Ward) a miss if you haven't seen it. It never gets going. Even the Creed films are better.Comment

You're a top fella, keeping it real. And thanks for quenching my curiosity. Now I'll be asking my Hungarian neighbour (true) about Tatabanya.

To be honest, I'm not too much into boxing movies... I saw very little of them. Perhaps I should study the topic a little more. But I've always preferred real fights, ever since I was a little kid. It had probably to do with being slapped all around the street when we were playing soccer. Through boxing I realized I had to learn to defend myself
Then again, I had the luck to grow up in the 70s. Enough said!Comment

Thanks man, your moniker says it all about you as well (Hagler being one of my all-time favorites!)

I first got into boxing aged 5 in 1980, watching Alan Minter getting smashed to pieces by Hagler, then the riot as Hagler left the ring. I watched Marvin as often as I could after that. And what a great guy out of the ring, same with Tommy. True gentlemen.
These guys trained for war, same with the killers in the 70s. It's different now.Comment
