my expectations have been dissapointed and exceeded this year. their hasnt been any "shoe-ins" for fight of the year like so many years have.

No gatti-wards this year so far. But every fight i have watched (with the exception of brocks fight) has been very exciting. nothing OUTSTANDING, but nothing bad either.

Fights that were supposed be horribly boring (taylor-wright) have turned into great fights!

and i havent seen the brewster fight (im not even gonna attempt to spell the other guys name, at least i can pronounce it) yet, so i cant say if it was good or not. can someone upload it?

      MAB/Juarez and Winky/Taylor fights.

These are the action packed fights wherein we're not sure who winning up to the last round.

It was like rocky but without the jab hitting you a foot away and you head snapping back.

Every month this topic comes up, and so many people neglect to mention Sithchatchawal vs Monshipour, which is FAR AND AWAY fight of the year so far.

                Nothing else has come close.

Well Fight of The Year does make some household names I.E. Gatti and Ward.

These guys are top ranked Super Bantamweights. They are ranked highrer than Ward and Gatti were at the time of their fights, and are on par (rankings wise) with many of the other fights mentioned.

Just because you don't recognize the names doesn't take away from how punishing and exciting their fight was. Both fighters are names in their own countries.

Don't down play something because you know little to nothing about it.
