I think Floyd had the skills to go a step further and get a title at 160 even if it was just a 1-off like Manny at 150. He fought Cotto post Pac & Margarito thrashings & fought Canelo at 152.
Floyd also wanted no parts of Margarito (Floyd would have won but might have gotten hurt in the process) or Sergio either. (Would have been an amazing fight)

true, I should have said... he was the best at 147/154 because of his style/skills

      Lmao wow!
You almost had it, but backwards.

      The complete opposite my friend.

08-11 PAC decimates ANYBODY in the welter division today.
ANYBODY. He would destroy each one of them probably all under 8-9 rds. Them soft boys in the division you see right now ain’t $h!t to prime pac!
Christ sake 41 year old PAC just decimated Thurman, lol.

Crawford would buckle so fuggin hard from one of Pac’s straight lefts. Crawford doesn’t have the Mexican Marquez spirit, nor does he have that tough experience.
He’d look like a deer in headlights in the ring with a prime pac.

But PAC going up to ONE SIXTY to fight current GGG and a Canelo? Gtfoh.
They’re waaayyy too big for PAC dude.

Albeit, Margarito was big a** dude for PAC to be fighting that fight. That’s why pac said no mas after he whipped him.
Plus Margarito is big from a length/reach standpoint.
He doesn’t have a brawny build like Canelo or GGG.

Canelo hasn’t fought at Welterweight since like 2010.
Idk know when’s the last time GGG fought at Welter.

Dude got cherrypicked and weightdrained and didn’t even know it.

Lol lowest hanging fruit for Pacquiao to win a vacant title at Jr MW.

Got wrecked by Mosley, suspended for a year, came back and got a win vs a nobody at 154, then all of sudden was able to fight for the vacant WBC title at 154.

        A joke of a fighter.

Only idiots would undermine Pac's win against Margarito. I bet they never fought a fist fight during their teens. Imagine you're a grade schooler fighting kids in High School. Pac fought Margarito 3 divisions higher than him during fight. That was insane in today's standard. Stop comparing Floyd to Pac. Floyd can never be greater than Pac, not when he's the natural bigger guy and fought running scared.

Floyd wasn’t fighting any Top Rank fighter whatsoever. He was in court vs Arum. So stop it. You clearly don’t know what was going on behind the scenes. Why would Floyd keep fighting fighters from a promotional company who he is in court with? Just go to sleep and think it over, answer another day. Don’t be rash.

Pac never intended to campaign at 154. He cherrypicked Margarito at 150lbs for a vacant title. His excuse that Margarito hurt him and he is staying away from 154 to not get hurt again is BS. JMM hurt him way worse at 147, so why not go back down to 140 and campaign there? Easy answer, his intentions of fighting Margarito at 150lbs was a one-off thing. He said he was hurt too bad vs Margarito so that fans wouldn’t request for him to fight Canelo at Jr MW.

If you don’t know when is the last time GGG fought at WW then I don’t think you know much of anything. Because GGG has campaigned at 160 since he started his pro career. He has never even sniffed WW. The only thing GGG has to do with WW is calling them out and fighting one welterweight (Brook) @ 160.

Pacquiao was hurting in the hospital for 3 days after the fight and vowed to never fight above 147 again.

So apperantly He is ducking Canelo at the time.

That’s exactly what I implying with GGG welter comment.
                    You fugging moron.
You don’t know boxing and you don’t know how to interpret tones via thread posts, which is even worse.

Go ahead and go join the largest crowd at the biggest grocery store in your city and then go home and don’t come out until the corona virus removes your useless nonsense joke of existence from this planet. Ya bum!
