Comments Thread For: Munguia: Canelo is The Best Mexico Has, Why The Haters?

Jaime Munguia knew, after defeating Dennis Hogan by points in a controversial majority decision, that he needed a change and he did it radically by hiring former champion and Hall of Famer Erik Morales as head trainer. Munguia also realized that he needed to move up in weight, as his body began to suffer in making the 154 limit at junior middleweight.

If CAnelo is the best Mexico has to offer then standards have really gone down. The guy is a drug cheat and most of his fights against anyone with a pulse are robberies. When he fights he has to drain people to give him all the advantages and his resume is full of small boys like Amir Khan and Matthew Hatton being forced to move up. This guy is an average fighter.

Which fighters did Mayweather bring from lower weights? Don’t tell us about Marquez because you if it was ok for him to fight Pacquiao it should be fine for him to fight Mayweather. Why even bring Mayweather into this thread, this is about Mexican beef Dodgy Decisions Canelo.

Trout, Lara, Kirkland, GGG, Smith, Jacobs, Chavez Jr, Fielding, Kovalev were not undersized, in fact his last 6 fights were against bigger guys.

He indeed fought a lot of undersized guys to pad his record, but the fact is that he is fighting guys his size or bigger on these days. BJS is not a small MW by anymeans.

Did he got caught cheating? yes, fact
Has he gotten the nod on close fights? yes, fact

Saying he is an average fighter is your opinion and that's it, but don't come here saying that his record is full of **** because whether u like it or not he has the best resume besides Pacquiao in boxing today.

99% of analysts have him inside top 3 P4P, so saying he is average would be like saying Crawford and Loma are average.

Alvarez, Crawford and Loma are the best fighters in the world today you can put them in the order you want.

Boxing is a world wide sport

Saying you are the best Mexico has to offer doesn’t mean squat, ask all the Mexicans who lost to Mayweather. He would even taunt them by wearing their clothing and using their music or sunbario then top it off by beating their ass on a Mexican holiday. Those are balls or kahoona’s I would say!

And most of those decisions were robberies or the people were weight drained.
