Also, Margarito had literally been destroyed by Mosley a year before. He was irrelevant at WW and as you astute say he was never a top JMW.

My use of bold fonts, quotations and asterisks may present an emotion that’s not accurate so I’ll omit them.
I do not dislike PAC but I do dislike Margarito because he’s a cheat and a joke.

PAC is the greatest cherry picker in boxing history. And there’s facts to back that accusations.

If a fighter is coming off a lopsided beating or there’s a dubious catchweight demand to weaken them then I’d question then Ed motive behind it.

For example(s):

PAC fought Mosley when he was coming off a lopsided beating by Floyd. It was a garbage fight. If it was Floyd that did that, PAC fans would have had a field day.
PAC fighting Rios who was coming off a loss and was moving up in weight and is a known bum is a reflection of PAC’s cherry picking

PAC fighting Broner who was coming off losses and a draw (and a meaningless win) is another cherry picking moment.

PAC weight draining Cotto, Margarito and Oscar is the same thing.

Porter or Thurman aren’t fighters coming off lopsided losses. Porter is a live action fighter even in close losses and because of that PAC will go after Mikey Garcia or Khan and you guys will eat it all up and defend it by saying PAC’s old and has paid his dues. No he has not.
