Would CANELO still make big cash$$$ if he never fought GGG?

Cause I see fans saying GGG is “set for life,” best moves he did was bank in Canelo.

It’s crazy that Canelo made GGG’s dreams possible for his fans.

I think many casual fans would gravitate to el Gran Campeón in Canelo. Eventually a fight with Smith, BJS, Charlos would still rise because GGG wouldn’t have fought them.

It was a beneficial pairing for both...Canelo wasn't going to sell 1+ million PPVs vs anyone else...but he could have done about half of that probably with a lot of guys...so his pay was doubled more or less for those 2 fights.

GGG couldn't sell 300 PPVs vs anyone else...and he made about 4-7x his best pay each time for those 2 fights...if his best was about $5 million for anyone else, he made like $20-$35 million I think for the Canelo fights.

DAZN probably would have offered GGG $50 million with no Canelo fights...they probably would have offered Canelo under $300 million if GGG wasn't out there as an opponent (yes I know GGG wasn't with DAZN at that time, but you know DAZN would have been looking forward to that fight).

In other words...GGG probably made Canelo over $100 million more than he would have made if GGG didn't exist...GGG probably made over $100 million more than he would have made if Canelo didn't exist.

Just thinking outloud with those numbers but I think they are about accurate...they both needed each other and made a lot of money off each other...but GGG needed Canelo considerably more, money-wise.

So without GGG, Canelo would have never gotten his Multi-deal, and GGG would've never had his multi-deal too, but Canelo would still make significantly more money regardless if he fought GGG?

GGG diehards say GGG did the ''right choice'' fighting Canelo. But Canelo doesn't get credit for providing GGG's family some generational wealth.

          Oh well , chit happens
Can’t see where GGG would of made his fortune without Canelo being his backbone
It takes two to tango right ?
But one is always better than the other
I think it’s pretty clear here

He exposed GGG just like Fury did nobody wanted to fight him, Wilder was a dangerman othwerwise Whyte would have sign to Haymon and take the fight

It’s Made him p4p number 1 and boxing biggest star . He beat baba jaga ( boogeyman ) when nobody else would fight him . Canelo lost to the greatest boxer that ever in slot of people’s minds so yeah that V got him everything. GGG will be remembered running out the ring crying until he gets knocked out in the 3rd fight .

Honestly, do you get paid for this **** or do you honestly have no life?

                    mutual benefit.

but Canelo was three times bigger than GGG at the time, since GGG had won one title in the ring only a year and a half ago.

What you really mean is would GGG be big cash without his Canelo fights. No, he'd be a guy who won a title and defended it against top contedner twice. Reasonable titlist.
