The Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder trilogy bout will be rescheduled for later this year, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum tells ESPN.

"So everybody has to take a step back. Boxing is not isolated. It's part of what's happening in the world," Arum said. "So possibly the fight will be in early October."

Gonna much more difficult to work a Vegas trip around my work schedule in October. Was hoping it would only be a short delay to August or something.

I think this benefits Wilder more than Fury although I still expect Fury to win.

Bob Arum doesn't expect the third Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder heavyweight title fight to happen July 18. That's the date that tentatively was set aside for Fury to defend the WBC championship he won from Wilder last month. In accordance with a time limit in their contracts, their third fight was projected to take place July 18 once Wilder exercised a clause in his deal to guarantee it as the next fight for both boxers.

I would love to know the official wording of the rematch clause concerning natural disasters/public safety incidents, it had a condition that the fight had to occur before the end of July and Fury could use it to opt out

Hearn and Whyte are somewhere having a fit. Lol. Whyte was supposed to get his shot in February of 2021. Not now.

This would work in wilders favor if he utilizes this time to work on his foot work, try to find and work on exploiting furys weaknesses and so forth. Plus, this could hurt fury. Remember he even said he needs to stay active so he doesnt fall down the devils dandruff rabbit hole again and party his nuts off. He seems like he's bipolar so i can see that happening to him easily...

Depression only needs a little push to come back full blown. It sucks, i deal with it and it sets you back a lot in life.

Most people think wilder doesn't have a chance but anyone in the HWD has a chance. I'm curious to see how the loss affected him psychologically.

I know there are many more important things in life than boxing but man i want to see an undisputed unified champ already. Been waiting since 2015... Actually earlier but we all know why.

Gives Wilder 8 more months to work on using jab as a weapon. Utilize the upper cut alot more and a couple bodyshots. Plus learn basic combinations. Schedule a time up fight then fight fury in November

This is all assumptions at this moment. Honestly, nobody knows how long this will last and what else can happen between now and then. Let's hope for the best in these times.
