Knowing what we know now, Froch would have run him close, if not winning. GGG should have went up, I don't adhere to this, hes a natural middleweight lark.

This would have been one of my dream fights. An absolute war and I would have slightly favoured Froch.

He just had to get that little dig in at the end there against Amir Khan, didn't he?

GGG. was a weight division down so Froch would have the advantage there but this really is silly talk from Froch as he wasn't even the best at his own weight when he was prime....Andre Ward was and you don't hear this from him!

Dirrell should’ve beat him, he even struggled with a 42 yr old Glen Johnson. Froch was very solid fighter but let’s not get carried away, he was never considered an elite fighter like prime GGG was.

well if that's your logic then the context of his retirement makes him look even worse. He made these comments, after groves, but then went into negotiations with ggg but decided to retire instead. Then within a year of his retirement he posted a picture of himself on Twitter and titled it "too big, too strong for ggg". Now all of these years later he says he's confident he would've beaten ggg... All of the while he's been retired with no intention of coming back. It's almost as if he's trying to convince himself and the public of something he never intended to prove.

That would have been guaranteed fight of the year material right there.
