Why is sticking and moving still a thing?

Im talking about out-boxing the way Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Erislandy Lara etc fight. Especially now with the internet, cutting off the ring should be general knowledge.
I know these are great fighters and cutting off the ring wont instantly beat them but its not hard to cut off the ring and put a mover in the corner.
Will this style die out when more and more people figure out how to cut off the ring?

Not everyone has the natural tendency to be that aggressive and pressure but I hear ya, if youre a slow plodder with heavy hands this should be the first thing you should figure out how to do.

When a guy is quicker than you mentally and physically its very hard and very tiring trying to pin them down as they get quicker as you slow, the great boxers were also great conditioners that didnt get tired, most had respectable power to keep guys off so there was no walking through them.

What appears easy from outside the ring is not so easy when its in front of you.

            it's not about... " figure out "

it's about... the leader is always quicker than the chaser

he knows where/when he is going

also, he knows when he is going to stop/feint/step > PUNCH

the best movers have you on a string

EASY to say... NOT easy to do... especially if the fighter has world-class footwork/ringIQ

EVERYONE said that Golovkin was a master at cutting off the ring

            I heard that for YEARS

and yet, I got Sanchez admitting on video... that Golovkin is not the same fighter unless his opponent stands in front of him... that was back in 2014

it is easy to say... NOT easy to do

A good outboxer usually beats a good pressure fighter or puncher.

That's the way it's always been since James Corbett beat John L. Sullivan.

When you cut off the ring. You need a good jab, to take off escape routes and push them back, good head movement to defend yourself from retaliation in order for them to create escape routes, and good footwork to keep up with their good lega.
