There is something being missed here.

UKAD did NOT accept Fury's claim of wild boar meat causing the bad test result.

Fury was not cleared in the case. He took a guilty plea.

Fury had to take a two year ban. A ban begins at the point of a positive test. The ban was irrelevant because Fury was out of the ring for over two years.

Whether or not the farmer lied is irrelevant to the case outcome. Fury was facing a two year ban in that case and got a two year ban.

Other than making Fury look bad, I don't see what UKAD could really do to him.

I appreciate the link and info provided.
I admit I did not divulge myself to any articles or discussions regarding the topic other than what’s posted in the main page of this site, and some of its bits in the forum section — as i thought they were just noises on level of the glove controversy.

I also thought that the “farmer” only claimed about having signed and being the one who signed.. yet there is no proof yet that he did or that he had the document. (And now i’m wrong)

So this article comes to me as a suprise that warren indeed confirmed the guy to be the one.

Personally I still think it would have been better if Warren did not open his mouth at all regarding the topic. Don’t you think?

If all these are true, under law it is right only and just to punish both team fury and the farmer. But that would also rob us for the best heavyweight fights in years.
So I don’t know if there is any more smart approach to this other than paying UKAD and the farmer significant amounts of cash for it to go away.
Or spin the story elsewhere.
I don’t know about you but floyd did the exact same thing to nsac during trying times of his IV issue imo.

Another poster replied in this thread as well said it didn’t matter if it’s fake evidence or not or if they paid him or not since the evidence was never accepted by UKAD in the first place. lol
And Fury still had to plead guilty and got rightfully punished for 2 years.

Now that’s interesting.

Maybe they submitted the docs but it was declined by UKAD. Either they considered it insufficient evidence or a ****** one or whatever. Therefore team fury didn’t pay the farmer cause there was no results for whatever they’ve planned lol

If the docs saved fury’s ass it’d be ofcourse a diff story.

Nonetheless all of this coming out, if true, is still embarassing and and very punishable. Hopefully just not a long ban though.
If the evidence played no role though in the final judgement of UKAD 5 years ago — which was already paid for by fury — then perhaps the punishment would of lesser degree.

Let’s hope for the best. Don’t wanna miss out the fight for undisputed. Last time it happened I wasn’t a fan yet.
