Bro, you have spoken my mind. I can't factor in a positive change regarding Wilder's boxing ability, trying to change at this stage of his career will make him become very unsure in the ring and that willen be the beginning of the end of his chances against someone like Fury or AJ.Comment

I agree , imo wilder can beat joshua still especially if josh fights like he did in ruiz 2 . Infact I would bet the house wilder stops him if he tries to box long off the back foot . If he fights his usual wrecking ball go for the kill close /-mid range with his violent hooks and uppercuts and think he can stop wilder early If he isnt tentative. However joshua doesnt have the chin fury has and no matter how he fights he has a chance to be stopped vs wilder . The thing that worries me with joshua is he is terrible at clinching and fury proved that to be a valuable asset in beating wilder. Getting inside (which isn't that hard wilder has a decent jab but he never uses it ) and fighting close is the key to beating wilder . However it's easier said then done . I personally give wilder a very very small chance to best fury in the rubbermatch . I think his psyches is going to effect him negatively after the second fight but kudos to wilder for running towards the fire and going for the immediate rematch I just think it is a horrible idea . But in all honesty where else does he have to go at this point ?? He doesnt have many options so he may aswell go for gusto and give his all . Unfortunatly his all vs top level opponents seems to be to get outboxed and wait around til he can land the right and that is possible imo , just very HIGHLY unlikely . If wilder loses the rubbermatch and AJ loses to fury that would be the next logical fight and I'd like to see it but I get the feeling we will see wilder fight kownacki or ruiz jr if he loses vs fury again
Firstly, the takeaway from the Ruiz II is that AJ does have a decent chin. The problem is that he easy get wobbled when hit at temple, though other top boxers have that problem as well.
Secondly, AJ can fight all styles, long, mid-range, inside and back foot, and he does have the aggressive and power that can enable him to apply the same tactic on Wilder as Fury did.
Wilder has been wobbled multiple times by lesser big punchers, so as far as chin concerned I do not think that Wilder has a better than AJ, coupled with his weak legs and balance(watch him whenever throws a jab) AJ will destroy him before he gets the chance to throw that big right.
Regarding AJ - Fury fight, it will be interesting fight. Unlike Wilder AJ is very strong physically, has shown great stamina in that Ruiz II bout. AJ is at his best when fighting tall fighters. it will be one hell of fight and I will certainly watch it.Last edited by Boxviewer; 03-20-2020, 06:27 AM.Comment

I am going to get desperate to see this fight.
This extra time is of excellent benefit for the two, interesting how this change the landscape now in the trilogy.Comment

This virus has already caused the boxing industry $ Millions of dollars in lost revenue. Until this virus goes into remission, then all of the fights are going to be postponed.Comment
