Not sure how likely a possible KO for Cotto could happen due to him never quite having the elite guys seriously hurt.

I agree Crawford often starts slow but I could see him giving angles and controlling distance until he’s warmed up.

And to me, Cotto was kinda overrated by some in terms of boxing skills.

Damn that would be a firefight!!!! I'm thinking Cotto because honestly I dont know how Crawford reacts to elite pressure and skill like Cotto had as I have never seen him against that level of comp while also being the smaller man.. Bud has some elite talent that would bother Cotto as he can change levels, switch hit and is a dog himself..Would be a damn good must see fight

Right. Bud with his switch stance, slow starts that builds into late pushes, and a more unorthodox style. Cotto is straight up high guard, PR style offence. Not at his best going backwards. But has great footwork and timing and resolve. I thought Martinez was going to beat him, but I got a bit suspect when they wouldn’t allow any sparring videos of Martinez and he hid in a tracksuit the whole time. A pic surfaced of Martinez looking really chubby for his standards. I mean this guy was a cyclist, all about being in shape. My brother told me days before the fight that our old man, who is by far the best at predicting outcomes said “Martinez is leaking oil”. The long shorts covering knee braces, the extremely flat feet, the three first round knockdowns. Yikes. My brother says Canelo would run Cotto of the road, if anything just by being bigger. I didn’t want to underestimate Cotto this time, and he fought it close. Buds prolly my favourite fighter these days, hate to see him not in bigger fights. But yeah this is a long ramble to say 50/50 seems about right to me. At least I think Vegas opening would have it around there. Does Bud have a good uppercut? I know that’s what Floyd was getting to him with late in their fight.

I'd pick Crawford in a good competitive fight in the early and mid-rounds before pulling ahead later and winning a decision.

Oh man what a great fight this would be !! I think cotto would win the first 4 pretty clearly and bud would take over and win a very competitive decision .

That being said I havent seen bud in with any welterweights the calibre of prime Cotto ,but iam confident in my pick for this MM

crawford by comfortable decision. Cotto puts on a sour puss face after the score cards are announced and storms out the ring, skipping the post fight interview then at the post fight press conference cries that he was robbed.

I'll take Cotto. Have yet to see Crawford in with anyone of that level yet. Although he looks the goods, I'll go with the guy with more experience at that top level having fought all styles. Man, this would actually be a real good fight though

Cotto, a big welter and proven at that weight. Tough fight but I think Cotto stops Crawford
