Sure the Iceman ain't necessarily done this the best way, but at least he's trying to do something worthwhile for people who are genuinely struggling and all you're doing is moaning about how your little acquisition didn't come off according to plan.

I was absolutely damn serious, you're good at telling other people how damn great you are - how about using some of that talent of yours to actually do something that might benefit these guys and help John do his thing instead of just attending to your own needs?

Compassion, man, empathy, understanding, try it - shit you might even find it makes you feel good.
Im the one who tried to give to the less fortunate. Where were you in the auction thread?

You wanna talk about compassion, empathy and all that So how did you help the cause?

That's enough dude thats all people need to do. If this fella is a businessman then he should know a thing or two about people giving their time.

Scully is actually a good dude we've conversed on a few ocassions i don't know if he'll remember me as he has better people to talk to about more important things .

I'll say this about Ice-man.....He's always been nice to me and always answered a question that i asked, how likeable can you get when a man of his stature is that busy with hectic schedules, he's a proper mans man.

There are other ways to contribute, of course, and I know what kind of time you put it and people appreciate that.

But you need to stop judging me cuz you got it all fked up.

I wanted to make my contribution my winning the auction. That was my way of wanting to help and intenions were pure.

Of course the 1983 Ring magazine signed by Mancini was an extra motivator, i aint no bullshtter, but at the end of the day, my 260 was supposed go to the less fortunate.

I kept it professional through and through in that auction but the other party failed to do the same and that’s all there is to it.

Look I didn't actually intend to go in on you hard, man. I thought I was being fairly restrained, but I don't always weigh my words right. Thing is I think in the circumstances a more considered approach to dealing with this situation woulda been more appropriate. I get that you're annoyed with how things went, but maybe it's sometimes better to step back and look at the bigger picture.

This was an open auction for the community and rules were broken so Im making an open thread.

And btw, I did PM him first.

If you dont want to make it a public business, then dont make it a public event.

If this was ebay I'd get it, but it's a charity auction, man. What you're receiving from your act is not a magazine.

why not take this up with him instead of telling the entire forum?
