GGG is my guy, but this third fight is going to be horrible for him. Not worth the punishment he'll take.

This fight will be Golovkin's one last great hurrah. Ha can win this. He's old, true, but he's a better fighter than canelol. He knows he can't let this go to scorecards. He'll go all in from round 1.
If there's a god in heaven GGG will knock this entitled mfer out. You think Wilder fans are bad, just wait till Canelo loses. His fruity fangirls will legit cry. Will be hilarious to watch. War GGG

I will say your point about motivation level is key imo...Canelo was far more motivated, relatively speaking in fight 2, than GGG was...Canelo was coming off a fortunate draw (in most people's eyes) and also the PED scandal..and also the taunting of GGG fighting more like a Mexican than him.
The roles will be reversed in a 3rd fight...there is a saying I like in sports...you can't fake desperate...and Canelo can't fake getting up to that same motivation level as he had in fight 2...GGG now is the one with everything to prove...does he still have it...can he impress in fight 3 like Canelo impressed many in fight 2...people saying Canelo took it to him etc, saying he lost to SD.
I still think GGG will outbox Canelo more rounds than not...he is just too active combined with Canelo's fighting in spurts...but wouldn't be surprised if Canelo hurt him at some point...Canelo is getting stronger it seems...and GGG is looking more vulnerable as we know.
But hope it happens in September...should be a good entertaining fight and night.

I imagine that has to take its toll and he will be 30 by then, which usually is young but he has a lot of fights and miles for a 30 year old. I'm curious about his knees too. Are they still affecting him? Haven't heard too much about them. Either way, I think they fight at 160 will ultimately benefit Canelo more, even if it's not by much.

Get your head out of 97k's ass you homo. If Canelo's a diva when it comes to negotiations, then 97k is a little punk hoe for fighting bums and crying when a decision doesn't go his way.
You go on and on about the Canelo decisions, DO YOU AGREE THAT THE DEREVYANCHENKO FIGHT WAS A BAD DECISION THEN?
Canelo fights FADED champs or those on a downward path, all carefully picked by matchmakers at Goldenboy. Golovkin is avoided by most champs for obvious reasons so all he gets left with is "bums" as you say.
Golovkin certainly was not backed up by Canelo, dont know what fight you was watching. As Canelo advanced G was circling him over & over again and that is exactly what you should do to someone who's applying pressure.
Is it not common sense to way up all your financial options before committing to a long term contract. It is for any sane person!
No the Derevyanchenko fight was not a bad decision. Putting bias aside if you watch that fight with the sound off and no alliances to either man you should arrive at a score of around 7 rounds to 5 for Golovkin. Yes Sergey landed a good few shots but Golovkin was always in the fight, his hooks & jabs were ever present, his shots were clearly heavier and he scored a knockdown.
Speaking of decisions... Mayweather only getting a majority decision was laughable, Lara should've been awarded the win and Golovkin CLEARLY defeated Canelo in the the first fight but Canelo is protected like that.
