True story

Roger was in the gym working with kids like it was another day but what one didn’t know was he didn’t get a ride this day. The funny thing is people were looking all over for him and as I was talking with someone with T.M.T, they discovered he had walked like 20 miles to the gym from where he stay and he was in heaven when he got there!

My favorite quote was in the HBO 24/7 episode when Ricky Hatton was quoting lines from the Rocky movies. Roger put it best when he said

I met Roger in 2013 outside of Rigo vs Agbeko in Atlantic City. I was coming in late due to some unexpected issues and I saw him coming in with two other guys. No one else recognized him but me and I ran up to him and asked him for a picture. He didn't hesitate and said sure and put his arm around me and my wife took the picture. He asked if the 'pretty lady' wanted to get in them and the other guy that was with him took my phone and took our picture.

I judge a person by how they treat others and he treated me and my wife with dignity and respect as fans. Boxing benefited from you being here and it will miss you.
