Roger was a G ,You could tell the Ring took a lot of years from that man, he Came across as much older then 58.

Got to be a hard week for Floyd , have 2 people that were close to him die unexpectedly , That’s the type of real life sh.it that can really f.uck with a person.

Roger not only taught Floyd about boxing, but the value of marketing yourself. I remember him being called the Mexican Killer, where he would enter the ring on Cinco de Mayo wearing a Pancho and sombrero. The Mexicans in attendance where there to see him get his ass kicked, but he usually did the ass kicking. They hated him, but he got paid.
He was just brilliant all the way round. Thanks for all the great boxing memories Roger. You will not be forgotten

very sad. roger was a great trainer.

he was a very good fighter and sometimes tthat's not where you want to be. he had great power and he put on a good show, but he was also known for getting kocked out and rocked and being in drag em out style brawls.

you don't play boxing. RIP. really gotta feel bad for floyd's kids, they lost their mom and their uncle in a matter of weeks. monety doesn't make you any happier when your family members die. it can even make it worse.
