Comments Thread For: Hearn: Fury Won't Be Happy Over Less Money in Wilder Trilogy

This makes a lot of sense also considering the Saudi's are in some really bad PR atm for the oil price buhaha they started with the Russians. There’s really no argument why a 3rd Wilder/Fury fight has to happen next. That fight will be there regardless.
There’s nothing left for Fury other than being undisputed heavyweight champ. That can only happen with an AJ fight.
The money is better and the fight with AJ will be bigger and for a big slice of history.
Fury/Wilder 3 does lower PPV buys. They missed the mark to break even on the last one, a third fight would do worse and lose more money.
Hearn should offer Wilder a big step aside fee now. I’m sure the Saudi’s would pony up to have a heavyweight unification in their country.
With the COVD 19 currently this is going to be delayed AT LEAST till the end of the year.Comment

Wilder activated the rematch clause in the contract that both of them signed before the second fight. Fury is getting a 60/40 split.
Joshua has two mandatories that he has to fulfill in the meantime.
There isn't much to moan about here.Comment

I totally agree with you, Fury is the A-side, he destroyed Wilder and he deserves more respect than the 60%, he should be getting more than that and he should decide the location. He doesn’t need Wilder, Wilder needs him... Contracts doesn’t matter, let’s keep that energy going..Comment
