Ok, two things:

1. If Stevenson or any other fighter can make the weight legally (comfortably or not), then I don't understand the "weight bully" accusation

2. If Stevenson or any other fighter drains themselves or "sucks down" too much then they will put themselves at a disadvantage.

Exactly...... Everyone was making excuses for Krusher and we all know if it was a black/latin fighter they would have had a field day.

What would be a good solution then? a limit on rehydration perhaps? (say 10 lbs. the next morning?) because other than that a fighter who makes weight legally isn't getting away with anything because he's not breaking any rules.

As for not fighting knockout artists, a "weight bully" might be able to beat up on overmatched opposition for awhile but eventually he will run into another top guy who "squeezes down".
