Comments Thread For: Hearn Eager To Stage Pacquiao's Next Fight in Saudi Arabia

As BoxingScene.com previously reported, WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is planning to fight again on a date in July. Pacquiao has been out of the ring since July of 2019, when he turned back the clock with a twelve round unanimous decision over undefeated Keith Thurman to capture the WBA title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

There always seems to be some confusion as to how many fights Manny has on his contracts. Remember Bob claimed Manny was contractually tied to Top Rank "for many more years" while Manny's team was saying his obligation had been filled? Then that same year he was off Top Rank.

I coulda sworn Manny signed a 3-fight deal with PBC. But who knows. Manny should take that Saudi money, & then do a farewell in Manilla.

A friend of mine from the Philippines told me that there's talk that Manny is only fighting to keep his political career strong & to help secure is his chances of becoming President one day. If that's the truth he should drop the belt and take easier fights

          Manny vs Mikey should happen.
The fight will be explosive while it last.

It had become evident that Hearn is unable to build stars in America, he must try to entice existing stars (usually from PBC) over to his brand rather than build them from the bottom up on dazn.

I don't mind this, no strangle hold involved. Manny can do as he pleases, but is this just a dream? Hearn likes to get ahead of himself and this sounds like Manny isn't on the line, yet. I actually wish Hearn luck on this, but no funny business. I'd like to see Manny again.

Pacquiao should be looking to cash out now …. Why not just blast the chinless dafty khan out in Saudi for the big coin?

Crawford and possibly spence could do pac a mischief. I think pac would do well vs spence but Crawford is different gravy / a step to far

Garcia is a better and winnable fight. Spence will only do hit and run as he did aginst Garcia himself so he might loss in points. Spence dont deserve Pac fight...
