This is her third. Adler WBC 168, Hammer WBO 160, and now Dicaire IBF 154.

With that said this will be Shields' 8th of 11 opponents to be a former or current women's champion. Whatever that's worth.

McCaskill BTW who is actually stepping up, moving up in weight and fighting Braekhus next while Shields and Taylor do their things...
Isn’t Taylor fighting Serrano on the Whyte-Povetkin card?

          Is she? At what weight?

Taylor still has two other girls that deserve rematches...

            That’s what worries me
Dicaire is not a bad fighter , actually pretty tough

            I don’t recall Adler
            I had forgotten Hammer

Persoon definitely needs one! And I believe it’s at lightweight, not sure if it’s been confirmed though

Good to see it’s on showtime rather than the deadzone

Is that right? Wtf. A combined 27-0 with 2 KO's. I've never heard of this girl is all I know. If women's boxing is gonna become more of a thing they gotta build them up more. They seemed to do that with the Shields vs Hammer fight but that seems to rarely happen.

Hammer was a legit champ though. So second champ off the top of my head.
Hammer had belts, but that's only because the ref went insane and DQ'd Anne Sophie Mathis when Mathis knocked Hammer out. Eventually it was changed to a no contest, but the fact remains that Hammer got KTFO and walked away with her belts anyway

Dicaire at least has 3 legit wins, which is 3 more than Claressa's last opponent.

Dicaire beat Lauren, Namus, and Suarez soundly. All three are legit.
