I don't think glove manipulation is on par with loading so even if Fury got caught dead to rights by some authority and punished I don't think I'd think of him as very dirty, just a little sly really.


I like the tricks and what not. I forgot who said it, but, an old timer once said " Kids these days think laces are for keeping the gloves on" referring to the cutting technique used by old timey boxers to cut their opponents with the trim of their gloves....it is, to me, a part of boxing.



Punching low is foul if the ref sees it. Blocking the ref's view with your body while you drill them nuts is just good technique under a system that pins everything on what the in-ring ref sees.


This glove thing I feel is the same. At no point did Bayless say **** about gloves. That means if Tyson did tamper he did it well and it was well with in the confines of boxing. That's just some boxing just like how a jolt isn't a jab and isn't seen as often as a jab but is still a damn fine punch. Maybe not many can get away with glove manipulation, but, if Tyson did, he got away with it. Making him damn good at that technique as well.


Marg got caught and punished so he's a bad cheat and a ****ter wraps loader.....Tyson's not.

Well glove tampering is boxings cardinal sin. I went hard after Marg and before that I had made a thread about Resto in the history section. I'm completely neutral in regards of Wilder and Fury. It's all about the gloves. If he did cheat, that's extremely bad and he should probably be in jail for it.

Marg is definetely a scumbag and I agree that it IMO is way to early to put Fury in that category.

I will say however, that some of the vids I've seen clearly indicate that Fury hits and connects with an unprotected fist. I have somewhat of a problem with Fury-stans being absolutely unable to see it.
