Pulev is knocking up the forty mark here and has always been slow .He hit the deck on numerous occasions until he was eventually KO'd by Wlad. He's average so Joshua should KO him but it's not a fight that sparks any real interest for me other than Joshua has been exposed and they will all know that a clip on the head does the trick.

There was a sequence in the rematch, sometime after Joshua cut Ruiz' eye, where AJ tried to press for the KO and nearly got buzzed. After that, Joshua realized that Andy is faster in exchanges no matter how fat he is and thus AJ made the adjustment. In retrospect it was foolish for AJ to stand and trade the first time but hindsight is always 20-20.Comment

I blame Andy Ruiz for that. All he talked about heading into the rematch was how he knew Joshua would try to "box him around" and that he would be ready to pressure and stop him anyway.
Everyone (including Ruiz) knew what AJ's adjustment would be and it's Andy's fault that all he could do was beg Joshua to stand and trade after falling hopelessly behind on the cards.Comment

Funny how he retreated the minute he got hit
But that fear is what is gonna cost him in the future imo
Won’t let his hands go out of fearComment

For now, I will chalk it up to him getting the victory at all costs against a guy who had already proven to be a stylistic nightmare in their first fight.
As for the Pulev fight, I think that AJ will feel things out and look to be aggressive if he doesn't have to deal with too much return fire. If Pulev seems like a sitting target then Joshua will go after him. If Pulev lands big early then I think it's back on the bike unless or until Pulev tires a bit.Comment

Yes but Andy decided he was gonna over eat lol
I think Ruiz was overwhelmed by the cash and the fame
Never crossed his mind to keep training
We shall see. He would probably have to go through fire (like he did against Wlad Klitschko) to beat Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder so too much reluctance could indeed cost him in those fights.

I’m thinking at some point AJ gets caught with a big shot
The reason being that Pulev doesn’t move well and isn’t the biggest puncher
That will comfort AJ to stick in the pocket so to say
And back on the bike we go lolComment

Who has said it was wise to trade with Ruiz when he was in shape?
The wisdom was to take the low-risk strategy that regained all three belts and confound the opponent that had recently beaten him.Comment

So what we will see is AJ on his electric bike again
Cause to show respect like he did to a huge man who you can tell didn’t train and get caught with a good shot which made him rethink his options
Wlad 2.0
