P4p literally means pound for pound, as in, if everyone was in the same weight class, who would beat who.

In other words, if Canelo and Loma were natural welterweights (not drained or ballooned up respectively), would they be able to defeat Crawford. It's who has the better skills in head to head or who beats everyone in head to head.

    It's not a resume competition.

Yes, resume is considered, but it ends there, it's not a determining factor, more of an influential factor.
So you actually think Crawford would beat Canelo if they were in the same weight class? I dont...

Crawford never had a remotely close fight before. Canelo arguably lost and drew to GGG and the Kovalev fight was a farce...and I bought DAZN strictly.to watch Canelo, but something was up. Not a single Krusher right hand the entire fight and his jab was slappy.

Not taking anything away from Canelo...guys a stud! That Kovy fight though...something was up.

And Crawford/Loma have been #1 PFP for past 3-4 years...so Floyd giving edge to Crawford is not surprising at all. Having Canelo ahead wouldve been poor because Floyd wouldve said "I beat him so I'm still #1"
Bud aint getting ducked, its his promoter that they are avoiding in doing big business with & no one ducked pvssy-g, pvssy-g has been doing the ducking his whole career with his fake ass

Weird pick since fighters usually hype guys they beat to raise their own resume. Mayweathers beef with DLH is so great that he refuses to hype his fighter. Thats what this is about.
                  postol? Nah, it was Gamboa.

I agree on the skills, resume isn't there for me. Wish he would leave Top Rank already.

You may be right but he's also a proven juicer. I guess that doesn't matter though because he's a cash cow. If it were anyone else there would be an uproar.
It's sort of how Saudi Arabia is guilty of a plethora of human rights violations but nothing is done about it because they have all the oil. Sad.
