Crawford never had a remotely close fight before. Canelo arguably lost and drew to GGG and the Kovalev fight was a farce...and I bought DAZN strictly.to watch Canelo, but something was up. Not a single Krusher right hand the entire fight and his jab was slappy.

Not taking anything away from Canelo...guys a stud! That Kovy fight though...something was up.

And Crawford/Loma have been #1 PFP for past 3-4 years...so Floyd giving edge to Crawford is not surprising at all. Having Canelo ahead wouldve been poor because Floyd wouldve said "I beat him so I'm still #1"
GGG was ducked? Lol, I must've been sleep during that era.

He isn’t ducked, he’s in a promotional company with a shortage of 140-147 fighters. In boxing, unfortunately, it’s hard to make good cross-promotional, cross-networking fights unless there’s a lot of money involved. When it comes to Crawford, he is not a PPV fighter, so the big money isn’t there. Pacquiao left TR so that fight is off the table too and Pacquiao ain’t fighting Crawford over Mikey Garcia, a fighter with a bigger fanbase.

Wilder vs Fury II was lucky to get 800k PPV buys and even that didn’t cover the fighters guarantees. So the chances of Top Rank/ESPN and PBC/Fox making another cross promotional fight after that are slim for the time being. It would take a big attraction and i’m sorry, Crawford isn’t that. He is very good, one of the best fighters today, but not an attraction.

lol crawfords best win is postol

Canelo is so far in front of him its not even funny.

Weird pick since fighters usually hype guys they beat to raise their own resume. Mayweathers beef with DLH is so great that he refuses to hype his fighter. Thats what this is about.

Crawford is very talented, although based on his last win when he got knocked down, I'm not so sure he's pound for pound. Having said that, being knocked down doesn't mean you can't be the best, and not his fault he can't get the biggest fights. If on resume alone, Canelo is number one, and how about Fury, who went and beatdown the biggest puncher in boxing, and went to Germany and beat Wladimir? Obviously there is also Lomachenko, for a best pound for pound argument. I think Loma does well in any era. Crawford would struggle against the era of De La Hoya, Mosley, Trinidad, Mayweather, and even these greats would have a hard time beating Leonard, Hearns and Duran.

If ur gonna try and takeaway a P4P designation due to a knockdown, try to remember that Loma was knocked down a few times too. Not by just Linares, but by Russell too.
