Comments Thread For: Mayweather: Crawford is Pound-For-Pound Best in Boxing!

Five division world champion Floyd Mayweather has tabbed WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport. Mayweather was regarded as the pound-for-pound king, until he retired from the sport back in September of 2015, following a win over Andre Berto. He came back for a single cross-sport bout in August 2017, and stopped UFC superstar Conor McGregor. Mayweather would once again retire afterwards.

I rank Canelo and Loma ahead of Bud. Crawford needs a couple wins against the elite at ww to be my top dog.

Skills and Work Ethic, In Shape YEAR AROUND!

I do feel Bud is one of the Best P4P for sure for it it kinda rotates fight by fight among 3 Fights right now: Canelo, Loma and Crawford

Resume is just one of the Criteria for P4P however if you lack in Resume you can make it for it by SKILLS IN THE RING, CONSISTENCY IN THE RING. It was originally a Theoretical Ranking, meaning for example Boxing Writers, Experts, Historians have the discussion "How Would This Smaller Fighter (Willie Pep, Henry Armstrong, Ray Robinson...) Do Stylistically If He Was in bigger weight classes. For Me Loma and Bud styles would indeed be able to Carry Up in a Dream Scenario if lets say they big enough to be a Heavyweights. This is why Heavyweights was often left off of P4P Rankings!

Now P4P Rankings are done based on which guy is signed with which promoter and which network he fights on as well as who Fan or Reporter have the bigger man crush on. It is now done based on everything else BESIDES SKILLS IN THE RING!

You're a F#cking Pathetic Hypocrite if you say "Well Bud Crawford Resume Is Weak..." but then when asked "Would You Pick Thurman, Porter, Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Ugas, Lipinets etc...Over Crawford" most people would say NO! Of course in that ring anything can happen HOWEVER for me 147 while a good and loaded Division I do think Crawford and Spence Jr are the best at 147.

Not Leaving out Pacquiao but this is not really his ERA he kinda just sticking around looking for the biggest Payday and had hopes he would get that Mayweather rematch which is not looking likely. Pacman is ABOVE any current Ranking he is on ALL TIME RANKINGS so no need to Rank him anymore in these Current Rankings
