Steve is telling the truth. Saying it would not have mattered doesn't make it not true.

If not for the fact that Cunningham took a night ending punch right after and because of the foul. The fight was over, nobody was going to deduct a point and then continue from where we left off before Steve hit the canvas.

A lot like Roy Jones/ Montell Griffin, too late to take a point after the fact.

Then could have changed it to a no contest. What is it with people wanting to win by DQ. It's like me fighting Fury, him throwing a chair at me, getting DQ'd and me winning, I'd take no joy from that whatsoever. Steve Cunningham, take the L.

Fury is very good at bending the rules that refs don't really enforce.

Rewatch the ko & tell me you don't see fighters like ggg & countless others do this all the time & nobody bats an eye. Remember huge fighters can't & don't punch like mws just to avoid doing anything illegal that nobody ever would call. Fury has huge arms, its not like he doesn't get tangled very easy & unless he wants to help his opponent of course hell do what he did. Cunningham was ready to go just like Wilder was, they can't blame fury, only repeatedly fouling is ever an offense

I've never seen Golovkin do this. And while I think Cunningham is being a little salty the move was illegal. 95% of the top-level boxers use dirty tactics.

Golovkin would do that often,& he also would throw elbows as well as rabbit punch (like every other fighter at some pt does,if you haven't seen g do this you must not be paying close enough attention to it over the yrs)

All this b*!ching from LDBC and their hero Floyd Mayweather uses the exact same tactics. HeII I remember Floyd pressing his forearm on Hattons head multiple times, just T'ing off on him.
