Reality is Rock has a better resume than Fury in a million years and would lay the pain on a man who mostly relies on his feet, tricks, and size to win fights but he would be up against a man that won’t stop and will keep attacking the body until ribs are all over the place like an Outback Steakhouse!

If unproven an untested Wallin can cut Fury and rock him in the 12th and a man who was outweighed by 40+ pounds dropped him twice and nearly knocked him out(if any other ref was there) then you can bet your house Rock would have Fury trying every dirty trick in the book to survive and try to win but it wouldn’t work cuz Rock will be just as dirty and even more!
stopped reading after the first sentence, but then I decided to read the next sentence to see if you had a valid point....so I only read the bolded parts.

reading comprehension ain't your forte, ha?

if i found a pygmy tribe of people who have a hw division where the fighters are all 120lbs, I guess it's fair game to compare them to lennox lewis and vitali klitschko?

Fury is too big..but who knows, Marciano was an odd/special guy and a bit of a tank.

guys like Marciano were great for his time, but times change, and athletes evolve!

he'd be a ****ing midget in today's HW division

I don't think he ever fought anyone over 190 lbs, what makes you think he'd be able to deal with superheavies like Wlad who weigh around 245 lbs, and who aren't complete clueless bums? They won't allow Rocky to just get inside and pound at them like Rocky Balboa did with the beef!

The Klitschkos were great fighters and specialists at fighting TALL, they would keep the little man at the end of the jab. Wlad would smother and lean on him and use energy sapping tactics, he was great at neutralizing smaller guys with superior inside game and Marciano would be no different (and he'd be much smaller than the average Klitschko opponent). Marciano would get tired and frustrated and finally knocked out by either Klitschko.

Joshua and Fury wont lose either unless they act like idiots and forget their boxing. I don't see Marciano replicating what Ruiz did unless AJ gets even more overconfident again. Fury would toy with him, outbox him all night, Marciano wouldn't be able to get close, but Fury can't punch so Marciano probably loses by wide UD.

Marciano was a great fighter but he's just too small to compete with superheavies. Did you see what happened with David Haye vs Wlad?? Haye (who is quite bigger than Marciano) was way more skilled than Wlad, nobody can deny that, but he still couldn't overcome the size difference, because he wasn't fighting a bum, but a much bigger fighter with skills!!

the klistchkos and fury aren't primo carnero, they're not just tall bums relying on size. they got skills and that's why Marciano would lose, soundly

Lennox Lewis would beat his ass too, btw
You’re suffering from cognitive dissonance and it’s as clear as the sunshine on a summer day!

Please take out your paper and pencils cuz class is in session!

You keep making the mistake of looking at Rocky like some ordinary Joe Schmoe that the Klitschko’s or the Fury’s fought, they may have been able to utilize those tricks on those guys but Rock was a different animal altogether!

Now the cliche athletes evolve crap, no more like athletes have found newer ways to get an added advantage than those of back then is more like it!

Back then it was just your fists, hard work and skills, no need for home cooking or refs favoring a fighter!

Klitschko’s both have been spoiled with refs that obviously favored them allowed questionable tactics ex. Leaning on necks, leaning on backs, excessive clinching, wrestling, stiff arms, manipulation of the ring, and favored refs!

Take those cheap tactics away and the Klitschko’s would both fall like an old oak tree! But even with those tactics it just prolongs the punishment being taken!

You think Rock is just gonna take punches like a PEZ dispenser? Yes he does take shots to get his but when he chooses he can slip punches and roll with them to get underneath and work the body!

He can change his angle and get off the line of his opponents fire but weaving to his right while gauging the distance of where he needs to be or how much space his opponent needs to land!

Rock would instinctively know with a guy as big as the Klitschko’s they would mostly rely on the jab and likely constant stiff jabs while leaning back to increase their distance and also their jab is a range finder for the right hand!

Rock would either parry then dip low or crouch under almost leaning forward to nullify the jab, Klitschko’s more than likely will either step back with the left hand out or try to come in and lean on Rock!

Rock would counter this by either stepping to Klitschko’s crouching low and parry the jabs and lean out of Klitschko’s firing range to work his way back inside to feast on Klitschko’s ribs and or he would
Head butt Klitschko's when they come in to attempt to lean on him or hit low!

Klitschko’s would think twice eventually about leaning on Rock after awhile!

Rock was great at making you exhaust all your options before you know that you have anything left in the tank, imagine Klitschko’s doing nearly every trick in the book for a big man to keep a smaller opponent off him and realize nothing is stopping this little man from waltzing in the front door and breaking you down piece by piece like a lego kit!

Rock was much stronger, more determined, more compact and had more subtle skills than the average Klitschko’s opponent!

Wlad would get absolutely thrashed all around after 9 rounds and I see the ref stopping it in 14 or Rock catches him clean on the chin and it’s lights out like bed time!

Vitali would be harder and longer to break down but it would be brutal cuz his chin will hold up but his body won’t since he’s hand a multitude of bodily injuries! I think Vitali would do well for 10 rounds but Rock is consistently chipping away at his body until he goes in the 15th and final round!

This time it won’t be no avenging one brothers defeat!

Like I said, you play down Marciano while playing up AJ and Fury who’s fought no ATG’s except 1 between them!

One danced his way to the title as the bigger man at heavyweight while the other went life and death with the UK ref stopping the fight when Wlad was blocking punches on his gloves!

Rock would absolutely hurt AJ on the inside, if you thought a late replacement sub with feet slower than molasses and just hand speed blitz AJ then what you think a human war machine is gonna do to someone who can’t defend against combination punching!?

Rock would give AJ the elephant man treatment with that horrid defense, AJ doesn’t even parry shots, he mainly slaps them away which is a no no against a violent crouching tiger who throws bombs in combos to the body and head!

Now Fury would be his toughest as I’ve said but no once’s invincible!

After 5 rounds Rock would know Fury is a mover who likes to play it safe with flicker jabs and double jabs and even triple jabs or quadruple jabs!

No problem for Rock, he’ll stay off the line of fire and when Fury squares up Rock will use an outside and inside parry
for the jabs and maintain a stance to evade or roll if the right hand or hook comes!

By then he’ll understand Fury’s rhythm, he’ll just start to slip to Fury’s outside shoulder to close the distance while occupying the jabs with inside/outside parrying or crouching under them!

Fury would be on his bike like Lance Armstrong but it wouldn’t matter, Rock would increase the pressure and force Fury into some exchanges due to Rock closing the distance with what I mentioned above and stopping Fury’s dirty tactics by either hitting him low or head butting the cartoonish giant!

The pace will pick up more than Fury’s used to, more punches will start to land especially to the body, Fury will be working his legs overtime to keep Rock off him, also frustrated with how his dirty tactics aren’t working cuz Rock is paying him back in kind with dirty boxing and he’s also forced to throw more than he’s used to while taking shots!

Eventually the fall will come in the final round of the 15 where Fury is absolutely gassed and feeling the affects of the body attack, a Rock smells blood and works the body until Fury is down and out like an antisocial teenager!

Again, David Haye isn’t no damn Marciano! Haye fought a ****** fight btw, he was the faster man of hand and feet and didn’t use them to their best, he basically played it safe and Wlad did the same playing it safe!

Marciano is about breaking you down and making you work more than your used to while suffocating you with pressure, work rate, combinations to head and body and giving you angles while fighting dirty if need be!

Rock isn’t no damn Haye, Samuel Peters or a ready to retire Lennox Lewis!

Lewis vs Rock? That all depends what type of ref is in the fight, Lewis has no problem stinking the fight up and playing it absolutely safe!

Rock would have to pull every trick he’s got as Lewis is an all around ATG!

Put it like this, Jack Dempsey was a midget compared to James Willard but guess who went down faster than a 3 dollar whôre but I guess it wouldn’t be fair to compare Rock vs Fury!

Rock would’ve made Fury have PTSD whenever he sees someone much smaller than him after Rock is finished with him!

Rock was used to fighting guys bigger than him and only way you was winning the fight is if you knock him out which good luck with that!

Rock would walk Fury down and work his body and make Fury fight him and if Fury tries to get dirty then best believe Rock unlike Wilder is gonna get just as dirty if not more!

As soon as Fury starts to get desperate and dirty boxes and tries his little hold and hitting tricks or choke holds, Rock is gonna hit him in the nûts or punch him in the throat!

By the time round 11 begins Fury will realize this “little man” isn’t going away an is getting stronger as the fight goes on and is throwing more punches that is hurting more each round goes by!

I think a short left hook to the body hurt Fury who and unlike Wilder he won’t just throw wild haymakers at the head but will continue going to the body until Fury’s day on his torso is caved into his ribs!

You guys overrate Fury for beating a past prime Klitschko who didn’t take any chances, a past prime journeyman Chisora twice and stopping Wilder who simply was looking for one punch and kept telegraphing it!

You’re nuts if you think Rock can’t hurt Fury if a got dàmn Steve Cunningham or Wallin can!

Lolololol. A fighter who is 5ft 10-11 with a reach of 68 who plods forward is gonna beat a 6ft 9-10 giant who moves like a middleweight and has a reach of 85

yeah right. Fury schools this heavyweight

Never got into fantasy match ups. Just because it's sort of disrespectful to form an opinion.

The only curiosity I have is who was the smallest man who could have beaten Valuev.

Haye gave up a 100 pounds. He basically didn't engage all night which was why it was so close on the cards. But I think any elite 6 foot fighter would have beaten Valuev using the same tactics.

Valuev wasn't a boxer, he was just a big lummox with a pair of gloves on.
