A look back. Salido was a dirty cheating overweight POS against Loma.

You make a great and valid point that just the idea of this fight is lighting up panties all overThanks man, that’s the type of insight I was hoping to hear from people. My brother told me Mikey would have more trouble vs Vargas than the odds suggested, and he did. But with Loma being only -400 it makes it seem to me like a knockout win by Teofimo is supposed to be less shocking than Loma schooling Teofimo. Hard to wrap my head around with so little known questions about Lopez. I love that a young lion with potential is going to fight a guy at the top. I know Loma doesn’t have tons of pro experience either, so maybe it’s a bit unprecedented, but maybe that’s why the fight was made. ( is it? Officially? ) I think more fights like this need to happen. Course if Lopez loses bad it will remind everyone why these fights are rare. I think Canelo learned a lot losing to Mayweather. If Lopez wins he will have dared to be great at a young age and pulled it off. The idea of this fight just might be more exciting than the fight itself is all I’m worried about. I just want it to end up being a positive.
Fans are much more interested what’s behind the fight so to say
Lopez , drug dealer father , very outspoken ( which more or less is what got them this fight before even getting it ) the fact he has power , attitude , everything a KIDbazooka dreams of
But I pretty much see it like Floyd-Canelo fight
Then again , the best training going forward for Teofimo Lopez
He can’t buy this kind of educationComment

You cant really s**t talk mexicans on a boxing forum when youre from some s**t hell hole that produces zilch fighters.
Thats a bad look.
(PS: speaking of bad looks, I knew this was Vlad’s thread before entering.
On a given day where things arent going perfectly well, I have the fact that after all these years, Vlad and those eastern euro ball swingers of his ilk still turn in their beds due to this loss to make my day just a little better.
Many more to come fellas)Last edited by glenn mcrory; 03-10-2020, 03:48 AM.Comment

In some ways it's quite possibly the best thing that could have happened to him for his development as a pro fighter. He was never lacking the skills, but as a raw introduction to all the ways in which the pro game differs to the ammies it was the best kind of lesson. In Loma's own words he learned all he needed to know about the pro game in that one fight.Comment
