I don't think it beats what SRL did.

But it's still incredible where he came from physically.

It does make me wonder though... is it because Fury is really that good?

    Or

Is it a sign of how weak the division is that a guy can disappear for a couple of years, balloon up in weight, abuse the chit out of his body with drink and drugs, and then waltz back in and restore himself to the top.

It might be a bit of both.

It can't be both, if fury is just average like the rest of them then the gulf should still be there, he is clearly much better than wilder. He's the man that beat wlad remember that not just any old scrub.he is a special talent and it's surprising that ppl who claim to be knowledgeable about the sport h avent realised this until now. It was evident from chisora 2/hammer even the Cunningham fight showed powers of recovery and dog that others don't have. Them powers of recovery are the GOAT that's undeniable. See a man get up in the 12th from that sledgehammer and be on steady legs, unheard of. God's work

How can it be if everybody is saying Wilder sucks now? Maybe the Fury comeback means nothing at all.....

Same people who call Wilder a bum
Not a fan of either but how the Fugh does that work
You probably noticed today I’ve decided to call Helenius atg for beating Kownacki

Don't worry too much what people say. He had 44 kis from 42 fights, let that speak to you.
It is greatest comeback story of all time in. Fury a good advert for drinking and abusing ykurself, it can't be that bad for you? No-one else could do it though. How fast tracked fury was.
He literally lost weight and straight after deontay, into lions den

                NO

That's Vitali Klitschko destroying WBC champ Sam Peter

after 4 years of inactivity and several surgeries, in his very first comeback fight

he didn't need to use tampered gloves to do it either

Fury is the GOAT. Don't get people saying it's weak now, go check through boxrecs and see all these olden day legends, fighting guys making their debuts in their 25th fight, and beating people who are 11-16, 2-5, 3-2 etc after 20+ fights.
