Pretty routine win I gather. I think he'l need 20 fights before we start talking about this guy pushing for titles and fighting the top 10.
Exactly. Very limited amateur career. Shields should bring him up slowly, which he has been doing. Once he has the head movement and the body/head shots they need to work on switching up his speed on shots to confuse his opponents more.

He just needs fights to learn his craft..... get some durable veterans or journeyman...... he might look average at times but it's building and learning every fight.

As long as he keeps improving every fight, what more can we really ask for. Agreed they need to keep throwing him some hard chinned vets because he needs rounds. KOing everyone in 1-2 rounds does nothing for a fighters development.

Let's give the guy some time.
Really needs another gear. I’d hope to see him be able to crank it up a notch by now, but like you said, let’s give the guy some time.

Agreed...... they should give him the Kevin Johnson test now, that's who they usually test guys out against lol

Ajagba vs Erkan Teper should be next.

I thought Ajagba looked tentative at times in breaking down Cojanu. Razvan was game but limited. I like Efe alot and he's growing as a fighter. Someone mentioned King Pin Johnson and that wouldn't be terrible but I think he should continue to face guys who pose more of an offensive threat. Shawndell Winters, the guy who lost to Parker recently, would be a good fight for him.

or maybe Chazz Witherspoon, who just lost Usyk. Johnson is too far gone to teach him anything.
