Excuses have no place in sports

I get tired of athletes and their sad ass fanbase crying and making up excuses when they fall short. Hell some even MAKE UP WINS FOR THEIR FIGHTERS RESUMES!!!..IF YOU LOSE YOU LOSE!! Get up and comeback better, that is what is wrong with this world everyone has a damn excuse and wants to rewrite history instead of facing facts and working to get better...

I refuse to entertain excuses or make them as they are pointless, Learn from your mistakes and improve as a person and overcome the mountain that are in front of you. There is no other way about it, every athlete has some type of pain everyday but they have to push through it.

Making excuses seems to be the reason for existing for a lot of fans, Pactrads I'm looking at you. If they couldn't make excuses then their idol, their god, would be a lesser being. In their minds they can turn a loss into a win, yes that is weird but that's them, that's how strange they are.

You’re right, and Floyd is the biggest excuse maker.
Floyd made excuses about his shoulder when Castillo whooped his arse. He made excuses when he didn’t engage with Pacquiao, and the biggest excuses for ducking a prime PAC. He made excuses for Maidana to wear those extra padded gloves. He made excuses to never fight out of Vegas. He made excuses when Margarito wanted to fight him.
He made excuses when he chose to fight Berto his last fight instead of Thurman.
He made excuses about his PED and IV usage. The list is endless guys.
          Floyd truly is TBE...
          The Best Excuses!!!

Yeah well sometimes there are valid reasons and sometimes there are weak excuses. I’ll judge which is which for myself, thanks. If you just want to put them all in the same basket, that’s up to you.

Remember when all the boxing historians blamed the hot lights for SRR losing to Joey maxim?

I dunno, for me fighters are allowed an excuse, if only as a coping mechanism.
                  Within reason, of course.

As long as theres people/teams losing, there will be excuses. Defeat is hard to take. As the old saying goes, you show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser.
