Andy Ruiz has just signed a new

    Head trainer:
    Name: Beef Burrito

History: Has helped countless fighters become overweight

Work History: has worked with Butterbean, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Adrien Broner, Gervonta Tank Davis, and all of the Fat Boys.

Expectations: Never shall I reach my peak!

    Results: Failure at best

Ah, the old "I'm GONNA" approach to fitness. Sorry but that doesn't' work. Andy, you will be on the right track when you can honestly say: "I hired a new trainer, I am at the gym 6 days a week. I have lost 40 lbs in the last six weeks and am targeting 227 as my weight in my next fight."

Anywho, if he isn't lying to himself and actually serious he should go with Atlas. Teddy won't play that crap and will hold him accountable, but I don't think Ruiz is that serious
          I say Ann Wolfe

One thing Teddy Atlas makes decisions on when accepting a fighter to be trained is their sincerity. If Atlas doesn't believe that Ruiz will put in the work and also the effort to reach tip top shape then Ruiz won't be accepted by him. Teddy doesn't want to waste his time on people he doesn't believe in.

Agreed, not too much to add to what you just said. Spot on.

I think Robert Garcia would be a natural and logical fit for him. Teddy Atlas is a part-time, mercenary trainer. If he goes with Atlas, it will be for no more than one fight. Go see Robert, Andy.
