That is true but that money gets earned once (or twice if there’s real demand for a rematch) and if your star loses, you’re done.

If you can manoeuvre one of your 2nd tier fighters into a position to claim the other belt(s), however (PBC - Ruiz, Matchroom - Whyte, Top Rank - Pulev) you could have an in-house undisputed match plus rematch and then the gravy train continues indefinitely.

This is the dream for the promoters, no? Surely this explains Hearn has been falling over himself to get Whyte his shot and why the only time Wilder talked of undisputed seriously was when Ruiz nabbed the belts.

It's really shocking to see Usyk risk his mandatory huge payday vs Joshua by fighting a dangerous threat in Chisora. These Eastern Euros are real men, fearless warriors with honor and guts. Unlike the big alabama bi7ch fraud coward who only fought hired PBC patsies.

Usyk must have a ton of confidence and be really good to risk it all vs Chisora. Eastern Euros making hwt boxing great again. Wilder should go dive down a toilet and flush himself to WWF.

Just vacate the belt and problem solved. It is going to sell regardless.

          That's just bs.

Joshua did exactly what he had to do to get the job done with no risk. Ruiz was never part of the bigger plan, he had to be neutralised.

Anybody who thinks AJ is scared just hasn't got a clue (probably the same Muppets that thought Wilder was the real deal).

AJ showed amazing discipline to completely rewrite his style for the rematch and many thought it wouldn't be possible to do. Those that complained about his performance should go and watch some playground scraps, it's more their level of understanding.

McCracken often gets a big say on AJ opponents, on if he thinks it’s a good idea or not. Hearn even said it in the past.

McCracken knows AJ isn’t ready for Fury this year and would like a year to prepare. So they will try to push it back to next year.

That’s why Hearn is now coming out with this Usyk stuff, backtracking a bit from saying AJ v Fury will happen in december.

Frank Bruno was probably the most widely loved and popular British boxer ever. AJ and Henry Cooper are both up there though.

The whole point of Fury vs Joshua right now is for ALL the belts, to be undisputed. Giving up the WBO would take just a lil bit of shine off the Fury vs Joshua fight, cause it will no longer be for all the belts. Best case scenario here is Chisora beats Usyk....cause Chisora would wait to fight for the undisputed title, or if Usyk beats Chisora he agrees to wait until after Fury vs Joshua. Which I feel whoever wins will split all the belts up again anyway once they have won them all.

He should not really be in a mandatory position until he beats a decent heavyweight 'For me? Beating Chisora earns him a mandatory position etc'.

It also seems like he was trying to get out of the Chisora fight for along time 'And wanted to go straight into a fight with Anthony Joshua'.
