Usyk would be ****** to step aside! If he beats Chisora, it's in his best interest to fight Joshua immediately! Joshua has already been whooped once. He's got a little credibility back, and if he beats Pulev, everyone will forget that Ruiz ****d him in NYC! It would be the optimal time to fight him! Plus, I think Hearn should bring that fight to MSG!

You overrate popularity, as most young idiots do. This is a sport and sports are about winning. The guy you're replying to was right, Joshua's buzz is disappearing fast. Buzz translates to tickets/PPV buys and tickets/PPV buys translates to money in the fighters pocket. You people seem to think that your favourite fighter should be earning big bucks and receiving the most buzz just because. Honestly, provided Fury doesn't fall into old habits or coasts through boring fights, he will likely overtake Joshua. You seem to think AJ is somehow meant to be the most popular British boxer and then cite the fact that he's more popular among women as the justification (as you weirdos always do). Boxing is very much about "what have you done for me lately" and, lately, Fury has had one of the best performances against a champion in years. Joshua had a 12 round stinkout against a guy who came in out of shape and is now going up against a husk of a fighter whose 39 and struggled against ****ing Hughie Fury. Unless he blasts Pulev out, even more of that buzz will chip away. I'll be stunned if this fight sells out.

It’s gonna be fury / whyte winner vs usky / Joshua winner . You can see it coming a mile off . Scripted as ****
Fury was boring as fkd but fury did what he had to do, at that time wladimir was the top dog in the division. Yea it might of been the fight of the year for the fans but joshua's performance was less than impressive against an aged wlad.

I doubt that the fury would ever fight whyte, have you watched whyte's fight against wach? Man he looked fkn sh**..slow,sluggish...i could not believe how sh** he was.

Anyhow, we don't know what the future holds but joshua will always be remembered as the guy who didn't fight any of the top two HW's. I personally like joshua more as a person but as a boxing fan if he doesn't fight either wilder or fury he's gonna be remembered as a ducker and everyone will agree with me.

Joshua lost to ruiz and accepted the loss and took it like a man, I respect that..wilder instead is being a bi*** and crying about his costume. But as a boxing fan I respect him wanting to fight fury again after getting smashed. Now be honest and admit that as a boxing fan fights like joshua vs pulev or vs an un-tested cruiserweight fighter like usyk...you can't be really looking forward to that.

Wonderfully put. Joshua is easily the more likeable person but, as a fan of boxing, he has done nothing to really progress the sport other than catering to casuals. Indeed, even as someone who likes Wilder, his excuses are childish and pathetic BUT he has never shown any trepidation towards getting in the ring with the guy who clearly has his number. He's truly fearless and I respect it massively. Its what makes boxing great.

Did you watch Tyson's documentary last night? The Gypsy King is now easily the most well known & popular boxer in the UK.
Absolutely. Fury’s fame has overtaken AJ’s, by some distance.

“But but Fury hasn’t sold out stadiums”. Well yeah, because he hasn’t been fighting in the UK. I bet he could sell out stadiums right now. Sure AJ had more popularity a year ago, but things have changed.

AJ is a forgotten man. Fury is now the most popular sports person in the UK at this moment in time. 3 part documentaries on ITV. Even people that don’t like boxing are talking about him.

Yup, look at the reception he's getting on social media, I've never seen anything like it. Look at the replies, these people ain't even boxing fans.

Fury wasn't at his best for the Klitschko fight, not by a long shot, he had a lose a s*** load of weight, was messed around by all of Wlad's antics in the build up, it was his first big fight etc.

I'd estimate that Fury was around 60%/70% against Wlad and still he shut him out in his backyard. It's insane how talented he is.

Fury was way underweight for the Wlad fight.

He had Flu leading up to the fight and lost a lot of weight, he said he had no strength but he didn’t want to just pile weight back on quickly to get back where he was, as that would’ve probably been worse.

He was way under his ideal weight, he was only 247 and coming off flu. Definitely was only at about 70%. That’s why he mostly just schooled Wlad from the outside at a slower pace.
