Did you watch Tyson's documentary last night? The Gypsy King is now easily the most well known & popular boxer in the UK.
No one can begrudge him of his popularity he has done it the hard way. It’s a shame he is now only recognised beating a one trick pony. The Klitschko win was a much bigger accomplishment.

Let’s turn that popularity into de Niro because he is a long way behind Joshua there. I just want to see them fight and whoever wins will be a worthy undisputed king

Amongst casuals, Josh is by far the most popular British boxer in history. Even amongst British celebrities, most of them embrace Josh than Fury. And it's not even close. Josh just transcends sport and it's very difficult to duplicate that.

Problem with Fury is he's never got in two good fights in a row, that last fight was his best performance for the casuals style wise but that's not usual for Fury, he needs to repeat it.

He struggles to raise his game for lower-ranked opponents.
Sorry lads but i disagree, there's no buzz around AJ anymore, yet everyone at work and on the street are talking about Fury. I think AJ's loss to Ruiz really hurt him popularity wise.

And of course Fury is more popular and well known worldwide, that isn't even up for discussion.

Boxing is prize fighting and a business. If someone is offering you 5x times what you make and you don't want it, you can't expect him to take a pay cut for you. Josh did all the heavy lifting by taking risks, something Wilder never did in his career. So you don't expect him to pay Wilder more than he's worth for fighting bums for 12 yrs. Do you? You have to earn it.

And Josh has been vindicated and Wilder is now old news. Tyson Fury has taken his place and he and Josh will make the generational money together. Aren't you happy for yer gypsy hero? LMAO.
Joshua should've dared to be great and taken a cut. According to Hearn, Wilder is a bum anyway and AJ would've smashed him in 2 rounds.

I think they’re waiting to make sure the cruiserweight looks like dog poo vs Chisora before pursuing that avenue of ducking

the way i read this was a ready made excuse to not make that fight with Fury (or even Wilder if he won the 3rd fight)

Hearn loves keeping things in house when it comes to AJ

And yes wilder fans are dumb
that mando excuse is getting old..it's like the ultimate answer every time AJ fans are asked why he's not fighting fury or wilder, wilder/fury happened twice already and we all know that no matter who he fights it won't mean anything ...he had one dangerous opponent so far and that was 41 yr old klitschko, and even he nearly ko'd him..he went life and death against wladimir.

He got smashed by ruiz then in the rematch he was basically running circles around him..come on man can't you see what Hearn is telling yous..he's basically saying..forget wilder/fury..we gonna match him up against someone we know he can beat.

Notice how Joshua hasn't even mentioned Fury's name since the Wilder fight.

                I wonder why...

                  Agreed.

And if anyone was in any doubt this is precisely why the undisputed hasn’t been crowned yet. Every single one of these promoters are actively hampering the process of unification regardless of their remarks to the contrary.

Protecting their business interests first and putting the consumer second; which you’d expect but anyone engaging in tribalism in relation to promotional companies needs a lobotomy; they do NOT care about fans.

I didn’t expect him to try and out gun Ruiz in the rematch . It would have ended the same way with him battered . The Klitschko fight was fight of the year unlike fury Klitschko but people called that a master class

It’s gonna be fury / whyte winner vs usky / Joshua winner . You can see it coming a mile off . Scripted as ****

He followed to make more money and under obligation to DAZN, their new (fight-by fight) broadcast partners in the US. Joshua used to be with Showtime. I find it amusing, I legit think the average AJ fan is an absolute dumbass. His image is massively contrived and meant to be sold to the typical jackass casual low information EPL viewer. This is why Eddie Hearn won't dare compromise his Sky contract in a thousand years. Joshua has shown next to no willingness to dance with the biggest hitters in the division. He will stay fighting half decent B-level talent because his idiot support base eat it up...though with the sheer impressiveness of Fury's win even those days might be numbered.

And it should be obvious that they have no intention of fighting Fury any time soon. Wilder enacting his rematch clause was a daft decision on his part and I'm pissed because, if he didn't, I would have gotten a chance to see Eddie squirm and talk out of both sides of his mouth. Hearn was praying Wilder would enact that clause as it buys his golden goose a little more time. Is it a surprise to anyone that he literally announced the Pulev fight a ****ing day after confirmation of Wilder's rematch clause enactment came in? He has no intention of an undisputed anytime soon. Hearn is a *****, he's pussified Joshua too. He has never gambled once with any of his top talent.
